I’m Josh Rowland with my wife Virginia. We’ve closed 200 sales here in Colorado Springs and I’m very confident that I know what I’m doing to represent you in a sale.

I wanted to send you a warm welcome back from Colorado Springs and give you an update on how our trip went. We started with a week in Scotland for a wedding, then flew to Rome and spent a week in the beautiful wine country in Italy, specifically in the the town of Spello and Assisi, where Saint Francis is from. It was an amazing experience, despite a few complications with my family getting sick. We saw the sights in Rome, including the Vatican, and while the city was fascinating, the heat and congestion reminded me that I’m not a big city person.

After Rome, we flew to the island of Sardinia and spent another week in Alghero, a coastal port town. Unfortunately, our beach vacation was interrupted when my daughter got a skin infection, leading to many visits to the doctor and pharmacy. Despite this, we enjoyed some lovely meals and made the best of our time. From Sardinia, we traveled to the south of Spain and stayed in a little town called El Paraiso, right between Gibraltar and Marbella. The Spanish people were wonderful, the food was fantastic, and we discovered that Spanish wine is not taxed heavily, making it very affordable. My wife, Virginia, and I even did a day trip to Gibraltar. I’ll include some pictures in the email thread.

We’re back and diving into real estate. One of our clients is finishing up construction on a parade home, and we managed to handle the entire closing and wire transfer of a flip home with our partners while we were on vacation. It was exciting, and we’re currently going through construction demo and design selections. I’ll send updates on this flip soon, as it’s located off Cheyenne Road between Ivywild and the Canyon. Real estate in Colorado Springs remains resilient despite higher interest rates. The market is slower than in years past but balanced, with sellers and buyers finding a fair value. Expect homes to sell within 30-40 days if the market likes the offering. That’s my quick life update—hope you guys are well, love you, and can’t wait to catch up!
